Team standings have 3 components, (1.)
match points won, (2.) game points scored, and (3.) game points
yielded to the opponents. Team positions are determined by match
points won with most game points scored as the first tie breaker and
least game points yielded as the second tie breaker. Since leagues
have a bye team each week the 3 components are calculated as
percentages.

EXAMPLE - Below is an example to show step by step what the
computer does to determine the standings. |

Each team in the league has a table
format like the one shown below for team C. The bye week for
the team is shown as all zeros.
Each week the match points won, the game points scored, and
the game points yielded are entered. The totals to date and
percentages are calculated. The match points won percentage is
the sum of match points won to date divided by the total match
points available to date (4 points per match played).
Similarly the game points percentages are the sum of game
points scored to date divided by the total game points
available to date (36 points per match). |

pastes the values in the table below, and sorts the data to show the
standings in the order from first place to last place. This process
is repeated weekly until all the scheduled matches have been played. |
