Thursday Mixed Bocce League consists of up to 7 four person teams
(maximum number for 3 available courts). Each team has men and
women on the team. Husband and wife do not play on the same team.
The sign up period is from April 10 to May 10 and teams are formed by June 1. Teams
play a set of scheduled league matches in June and July. A playoff
tournament is played in August.
Team players in a league must be Britton Falls residents and in residence here the months of June, July,
and August.
Except for emergencies, team players are expected to play all scheduled games. A
league fee may be charged to cover incidental expenses, special events,
and awards.
The Mixed Bocce League plays on Thursdays at 6:30 pm during June, July,
and August.
Players in any league from the previous year have first priority to be placed on a team;
substitutes and inactive Bocce Club members from the previous year have second priority; and new Bocce Club Members
may go on a team if openings exist but if none exist they are
placed on the substitute list . |
